John E. Pearson Sr is a 39-year Law Enforcement Executive. He rose from the ranks starting as a patrolman to the Deputy Director of Police Services with the Dekalb County Police Department. During his 25-year tenure with Dekalb, John’s leadership skills allowed him to serve as Assistant Commander of Criminal Investigations Division, Assistant Commander of Youth and Sex Crimes, SWAT Team Commander, Special Investigations Commander, Drug Unit Commander, and North Precinct Commander. In addition, he served as the Assistant Police Chief for the city of Hogansville, and the Chief Investigator and Deputy Commissioner for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
